These issues can be caused by a permission issue with the IMSS database.
To resolve the issue, verify that the IMSS database files and the ODBC settings are pointing to the correct location of the database.
  1. Check the ODBC connection.
    1. Go to Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC).
    2. Go to System DNS and then click Configure on the IMSS server.
    3. Verify that the information is correct, and then click Test Data Source.
  2. Confirm that the following database files under ..:\Program Files\Trend Micro\IMSS\config are pointing to the correct location:
    • database.ini
    • odbc.ini
  3. Check the permissions on the database. If you are the owner of the database, verify if you have the dbo privilege. If you do not have this privilege, change the db_owner permission.
