Summary
When you try to install FDE, the following error message shows:
The system is unable to authenticate this user, please verify the user credentials and host information before continuing.
Details
Public
The message occurs when you use the Enterprise Administrator's account during installation. Adding the DeviceID to a group is a part of installation. However, the Enterprise Administrator does not belong to any group.
To resolve this issue:
  1. Under the Enterprise Devices, look for the DeviceID located in the MMC.
  2. Right-click a device and obtain a list of groups where the device belongs to.
If the device is not a member of a group, delete the DeviceID from Enterprise Devices and install again using the right credentials or move the DeviceID to a group before reinstalling.
To prevent the issue in the future:
  1. Before installing FDE, the Administrator needs to create at least one group.
  2. Under this group, create a Group User and assign them a One-Time Password (if not setup for Domain Authentication) or create a user in the group and make them a group Administrator or Group Authenticator with a fixed password.
  3. Install FDE with the user in the preferred group.
