It is important to update the product license of DSM when it is about to expire. When a product subscription expires, you will no longer be able to download the necessary updates.
This article provides the steps in updating or adding the product licenses once you have renewed or acquired them.
To update the product license:
- Access the Deep Security console using any of these options:
- Access the console from the DSM host via the Start menu.
- Access the console from a remote computer by opening a supported web browser and navigating to HTTPS://<Manager_hostname_or_IP_address>:4119/
- Access the console from the DSM host via the Start menu.
- Click Yes when the following security warning appears:
- Enter your Username and Password on the Deep Security login screen, then click Sign In to go to the console.
- At the Deep Security Manager console, look for Systems at the left navigation pane.
- Click System > License.
- To view the detailed information about the current Trend Micro product licenses applied in the DSM, click the View Details button.
- To enter a new Activation Code, click the Enter New Activation Code button.
- To update the current Activation Code if it has been renewed, click the Update Information button.
