"The custom form cannot be opened…" appears when opening the Approve Senders List in Microsoft Outlook when using ScanMail for Exchange (SMEX)

Summary
You cannot open the Approved Senders List in Microsoft Outlook. The following error message appears when you try to open the form:
The custom form cannot be opened.

This issue is not directly related to SMEX. Based on the error, there is not enough disk space to copy or open the form and Outlook uses an Outlook form instead.
There are two options to resolve this issue:
Option I
  1. From Outlook, go to Tools > Options > Other tab.
  2. Click Advanced Options > Custom Forms > Manage Forms.
  3. Click Clear Cache.
  4. Click Close > OK.
  5. Restart Microsoft Outlook.
Option II
  1. From Outlook, go to Tools > Options > Other tab.
  2. Click Advanced Options > Custom Forms.
  3. Increase the value of "Maximum space on hard disk" to "5000" kilobytes.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Restart Microsoft Outlook.
