The following error message appears when you click the Magic Link to activate the WFBS-SVC for Dell Agent:
Activation unsuccessful
The server encountered an error and was unable to complete your request. Click Refresh or try again later. (Error code: 0x80003000)

To resolve the issue:
  1. Uninstall the WFBS-SVC for Dell Agent.
  2. Restart the computer.
  3. Reinstall the Agent. Follow the procedure in this article: Downloading the Agent installer of WFBS-SVC.
    After reinstalling the Agent, you no longer need to click the Magic Link to activate it.
If the issue persists, WFBS-SVC for Dell may be experiencing some internal issues. Contact Trend Micro Technical Support and provide the following:
  • Activation Code
  • Login username
  • Time the issue happened and region you are in
  • Screenshot (including the URL)
