Unable to install or uninstall AD Plug-in
The AD Plug-in is no longer supported. Use the External Directory Browser instead. The provided username does not have the required permissions.
To resolve the issue, the user must have persmission to modify the Active Directory pages. The following function is used to modify the said pages:
Domain Controller does not allow external application access
To fix this, change the domain controller to allow external application process.
Cannot find user when using the Active Directory Retrieval Wizard
Here are the possible causes of the issue:
- The name of the imported user is misspelled.
- A name other than the display name is entered.
- The name of the Domain is misspelled.
Unable to import an AD Group to the PolicyServer
This happens when the user that is a part of the group to be imported already exists in the PolicyServer.
Not all users from an AD group are imported
To resolve the issue when importing a large group (1500+ users), limit your searches to 1499 users.
