Enabling Self-Help on established users
- At the FDE pre-boot, click Password Change and select Change Password After Login.
- Enter your User Name and PIN/Password and click Continue.
- When you are prompted to register a new smart card, click Continue.
- Enter your PIN and click Continue.
- Answer all the predefined Self-Help questions and click Continue.
You may now use the Windows and the FDE pre-boot operating systems.
Answering Self-Help questions
Use this procedure when you forgot your credentials or you have been reissued a smart card.
- From the FDE authentication screen, click Help.
- Choose Q/A Password Reset.
- On the Self-Help screen, enter your response to each question.
- After answering each question, click Continue to proceed to the Password Reset screen.
- Click Continue to re-register your smart card.
- Enter your PIN and click Continue.
- Answer all the questions and click Continue.
