You accidentally deleted an active FDE client from the PolicyServer at the Enterprise Level.
Below are the recommendations to resolve the issue:
- If a device has been deleted from the server and is not in a locked state, it is recommended that an admin log into the device and perform an uninstall immediately. Once the product is removed, it can then be reinstalled which will re-add it to the PolicyServer.
- Alternatively, if the end-user data can be easily backed up, a re-image of the device and reinstall of FDE can help minimize downtime.
- If a device is in a locked state, contact Trend Micro Technical Support and request an Unlock CD that can be used to unlock the device. Afterwards, FDE can be removed using the standard process and reinstalled. This will create a new Device ID on the PolicyServer.
