With FDE SP7b (3.0.12.813), Windows 7 fails to load after authentication.

If you encounter this issue, share the details to Trend Micro Technical Support including the list of any recent system changes on the device prior to the issue. It is also necessary to include the following information:
  • Model of the PC where the issue occurred
  • Version of the operating system (32 or 64 bit)
  • Frequency of the issue
  • Steps to duplicate the issue
As a workaround, boot into Safe Mode or into the Windows 7 boot menu.
If it is not possible, do the following:
  1. Log in to FDE as a PolicyServer Administrator.
  2. Access the Recovery Console.
  3. Decrypt the drive within the FDE Recovery Console.
  4. Attempt to boot into Windows and allow Windows to repair any issues.
