Summary

You receive one of the following error messages when creating a OfficeScan client EXE or MSI package:

CWinFileException: Error : 2

client package cannot be created

The error messages occur when creating a client package because the digital signature of the DWIoTrapNT.dll file is expired or invalid.

To address the problem:

  1. Install OfficeScan 10.6 Service Pack (SP) 1 on the OfficeScan server.
  2. If updating to Service Pack 1 is not possible, install Hot Fix Build 1180.1 on the OfficeScan 10.6 server.
