'At least one Exchange Server is outdated' notification appears on the Live Status page of the Security Server console

You receive the following notification from the Live Status page of the Security Server console even after running a manual update:
At least one Exchange Server is outdated

This issue occurs because Messaging Security Agent (MSA) components are not updated automatically.
To resolve the issue:
  1. Go to the Security Server console. 
  2. On the Security Server console, click Updates > Manual Update.
  3. Expand the Messaging Security Agent to see its components.
  4. Take note of the following:
    • Messaging Security Agent Anti-spam pattern
    • Messaging Security Agent scan engine
    • Messaging Security Agent pattern
  5. Go to the Exchange Server.
  6. Go to Start > All Programs > Trend Micro Messaging Security Agent > Real-time Monitor.
  7. Take note of the following:
    • Spam pattern
    • Scan engine
    • Virus pattern
  8. Compare the information that you got from Steps 4 and 7.
  9. Update spam pattern, scan engine, or virus pattern, whichever is necessary. You may refer to the KB articles below for instructions:
