Check these two settings in IIS 7.x or 8.x:

  1. Check whether PLMDAL site or application is present under the OfficeScan website in IIS.
    1. Open the IIS Manager.
    2. Expand the ServerName > Sites > OfficeScan > officescan.
Normally, the PLMDAL should appear on that list.
    3. Right-click the officescan folder.
    4. Select Add Application.
    5. Enter "PLMDAL" as the alias.
    6. For the Physical path, click the browse button (...) and navigate to the ...\PCCSRV\PLM\DAL\entry directory.
    7. Click OK.
    8. Restart the OfficeScan website.
    9. Access the OfficeScan web console again and the issue should now be fixed.
  2. Check ISAPI Filters in IIS.
    1. Open the IIS Manager.
    2. Expand Sites > OfficeScan.
    3. Select ISAPI Filters.
    4. Change the file from DALFilter64.dll to DALFilter.dll.
    5. Restart IIS and check the web console again.
