Summary
Because the settings defined in each policy will overwrite the settings in the product itself (e.g. real-time scan settings), test new policies on a few samples first before deploying to the actual environment.

  7. Click OK.
  8. Monitor the settings deployed to the test products.
If you have deployed the policies to test products and want to apply the same policy to other products, do the following:
    • Option 1: Update the targets of the same policy so that they apply to other products, and click Deploy. This will redeploy the policy and the TMCM server will detect new targets.
    • Option 2: Create the same policy but with different targets, which would be other products.
