Configuring the SMTP Server Settings in SafeSync for Enterprise

Configure the SMTP Server Settings to set up an email server to send log reports.

To configure the SMTP setting:
  1. Log in to the SafeSync web console.
  2. Go to Administration > System Settings. The System Settings screen appears.

  3. Click the SMTP Server Settings tab.

  4. Mark Use an SMTP server to send logs checkbox.
  5. Type the following information the field provided:
    1. IP address or host name of the SMTP server in the Server field.
    2. Port
    3. Sender’s email address in the Sender field. 
      Note: SafeSync uses this address as the sender address (a requirement for some SMTP servers).
    If the SMTP server requires authentication, type the user name and password in the fields provided.
  6. Click Save. SafeSync performs a test connection and saves the SMTP server settings.
