“Unknown Device” error message appears after clicking the device enrollment link in Hosted Mobile Service (HMS)

Unknown Device
Device enrollment does not currently support desktop computers (Windows PC or Mac).
If this device is a mobile device, please select the appropriate device type to continue enrollment.

The error happens because Hosted Mobile Security is unable to determine the operating system of the device from where the enrollment URL or link was opened.
To resolve this issue, you must open the enrollment URL from a supported device.
