Enabling debug mode in Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI)

To enable debug mode in DDI:

  1. Log in to the DDI web console.
  2. Change the browser URL to "https://<DDI-IP>/html/troubleshooting.htm".
    You will be redirected to the DDI Debug/Troubleshooting page.
  3. Select the Debug level for the module.
     
    The default debug mode for DDI 3.5/3.6 is normally sufficient for most issues, so modify only as suggested by Trend Micro Technical Support to avoid unnecessary disk usage.

  4. Click Save.
  5. Reproduce the issue.
  6. Go to the Debug Log Export section and select the following checkboxes:
    • Export Debug Log
    • Export Configuration
  7. Click Export to download the logs.
  8. Click Reset to default log settings to restore original settings.
  9. If you wish to free up space on your hard drive, click Purge Debug Log after downloading the logs.
  1. Log in to the DDI web console.
  2. Modify the browser URL to “https://<DDI-IP>/html/rdqa.htm”.
  3. Go to Logs > CAV Rules Enable/Disable.
  4. Under the Current column, click the enable or disable icons to set your chosen rules.
  5. Click Save Changes.
