An error message appears when trying to install an OfficeScan (OSCE) client through Web Installation

Summary
You installed an OSCE server on a Windows 2008 64-bit machine with IPV6 enabled. The default URL of the OfficeScan console is https://[fe80::106b:f4:fSf5:2fc9]:4343/officescan.
The following error occurs when you use the https://[fe80::106b:f4:fSf5:2fc9]:4343/officescan/console/html/ClientInstall link for installation:
Information needed to do the installation has not been downloaded by the ActiveX setup controls due to an unexpected reason. Please contact your OfficeScan administrator for assistance.

However, there is no issue and the client is successfully installed when you use the following link:
https://localhost:4343/officescan/console/html/ClientInstall

To resolve this issue, do the following:
  1. Log on as an administrator.
  2. Launch Internet Explorer and add the OfficeScan server URL to the list of trusted sites.
  3. Modify the Internet Explorer security setting by enabling Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls under ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
If the issue persists, retry the steps three times and see if the OSCE client is installed successfully.
