The following lists the behavior of the Security Agent firewall under different scenarios:
  • When In office and Out of Office is enabled, firewall service and driver is running.
  • When In office is disabled and Out of Office is enabled, the Firewall service and driver is running.
    • When client location is In office, firewall profile filtering is bypassed or does not take effect.
    • When client switches to Out of Office, firewall profile filtering will take effect.
  • When In Office is enabled and Out of Office is disabled, firewall service and driver is running.
    • When client location is In Office, firewall profile filtering will take effect.
    • When client switches to Out of Office, firewall profile filtering will be bypassed.
  • When In Office and Out of Office is disabled, firewall service is stopped or firewall driver is removed/uninstalled.
