Summary
By default, only accounts with administrator role can create user accounts in OfficeScan.
Details
Starting from Officescan 10.6 Service Pack 2, there is a customized role that has the privilege to create user accounts. To enable this feature:
- Upgrade OfficeScan 10.6 to Service Pack 2, version 11.0 or version XG.
- Using a text editor, open \Pccsrv\Private\Ofcserver.ini.
- Under the [INI_SERVER_SECTION] section, add the following key: ConfigPermissionUserAccounts =1
- Save the ofcscan.ini
- Stop and restart the OfficeScan Master Service.
