Enable InterScan Web Security as a Service (IWSaaS) to selectively scan or block incoming and outgoing files moving through Internet traffic.

To enable Antimalware Protection, log in to your IWSaaS web console and go to the Security Policies tab.

Enable Antimalware Protection 

  1. Enable or disable Anti-Malware Protection.
  2. Specify whether IWSaaS should scan for all incoming or outgoing traffic for malware.
  3. Specify any file types to be exempt from scanning.
  4. Specify any file types IWSaaS should block and if these same files should be blocked in a compressed file.
  5. Specify the action IWSaaS will take on unscannable and password-protected files.
  6. Click Save.

Enable Web Reputation Service (WRS) to block malicious web sites based on a particular sensitivity level to determine what action to take when encountering malicious content.

To enable Web Reputation, log in to your IWSaaS web console and to go Security Policies > Advanced Web Protection > Web Reputation.

Enable Web Reputation Service 

  1. Enable or disable WRS.
  2. Set the sensitivity level for IWSaaS to use when filtering websites with potentially malicious content.
  3. Select the action IWSaaS should take against sites with malicious content.
  4. Click Save.
