Managing Access Policies on InterScan Web Security as a Service (IWSaaS)

Get to know where you can modify IWSaaS access policies.

Public

Access policies allow IWSaaS administrators to manage website access and application controls. This is were you can configure URL Filtering Policies, Custom URL Categories, Application Control and Approved/Blocked URLs.

To manage Access Policies:

  1. Enable or disable URL Filtering Policies.
  2. Open the record you want to change, or click the appropriate button to either delete or add a record.
  3. Change a policy's priority by promoting or demoting it with the up/down buttons on the right side of the rule.

  4. Under Custom URL Categories, add a custom URL category containing a list of URLs that you would like to filter.

  5. Enable or disable Application Control.
  6. Open the record you want to change, or click the appropriate button to either delete or add a record. Enabled policies display a green LED image at the left of the policy name. Disabled policies display grey.
  7. Change a policy's priority by promoting or demoting it with the up and down buttons on the right side of the rule.
