Configuring Deep Security Widgets in Control Manager (TMCM)

To configure the TMCM Deep Security widget:

  1. Enable the Deep Security WebAPI:
    • For Deep Security 8:
      1. Open the Deep Security Manager (DSM) console.
      2. Go to System > Settings, then click the Systems tab.
      3. On the Web Service API section, set to Enabled – Access the WSDL at... and click Save.
    • For Deep Security 9:
      1. Open the DSM console.
      2. Go to the Administration tab > System Settings, then click the Advanced tab.
      3. On the SOAP Web Service API section, set to Enabled – Access the WSDL at... and click Save.
  2. Configure the TMCM widget to gather data from DSM:
    1. Open the TMCM console.
    2. On the Dashboard section, click Add Widgets.
    3. Add the following widgets:
      • Deep Security Component Summary
      • Deep Security Feature Summary
      • Deep Security Status Summary
  3. Select Click here to configure Deep Security Manager Server connection settings to show data in this widget link.

    If you are using the latest version of the Widgets Pool (Build 1935):

     
    To update to the latest version of the Widget Pool, refer to the KB Updating Control Manager (TMCM) widgets through the ActiveUpdate (AU) server.
    1. After clicking the Click here to configure Deep Security Manager Server connection settings to show data in this widget link, the Server Visibility window appears. Click the Add icon.

    2. On the Server Type field, select Deep Security Manager and enter the necessary details.

      You will see an icon with a green check if the details that you entered are correct.

    3. Click Close and refresh the screen. The widgets will now display the correct values.

    If you are using an older version of the Widget Pool:

    1. Enter the DSM connection details and click Save.

      The widget is now updated.
