The TM Listen Service randomly stops on some of the machines with OfficeScan client installed. The user needs to start the TM Listen service manually but it will stop again after a certain period of time.
This problem is caused by an issue with the Systems Management Server (SMS) Agent service when stopping the Windows Management Intrumentation (WMI) service. When you have WMI Framework 3.0 installed, this will request the WMI Service to rebuild its repository, causing the WMI service to shut down, stopping the OfficeScan NT Listener Service.
To resolve the issue, upgrade to System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 Service Pack 1.
