For troubleshooting purposes, the OSCE admin can enable or disable the OSCE NT Proxy Service of a particular client from the OSCE server's web console.
OSCE offers a more granular option for enabling and disabling a particular service or feature.
To turn off the OSCE NT Proxy Service:
- Open the OSCE console.
- Do the following:
- OfficeScan 10.6: Go to Networked Computers > Client Management.
- OfficeScan 11.0 and XG: Go to Agents > Agent Management.
- Expand the OSCE domains and look for the particular client.
- Highlight the client on the right pane of the page and click the Settings tab.
- Click the Web Reputation Settings and uncheck Enable Web reputation policy... for Internal and External Clients.
- Click Save.
- Highlight the client again and click the Settings tab.
- Click Behavior Monitoring Settings.
- Uncheck Enable Malware Behavior Blocking option.
- Click Save.
