Public

The message occurs due to any of the following conditions:

  • Scenario 1: The Security Agent cannot successfully upload the infected file to the server.
  • Scenario 2: The quarantine folder on the Security server is full, and WFBS does not automatically purge the quarantine directory.

Depending on the condition, follow the steps below:

Scenario 1: The Security Agent cannot successfully upload the infected file to the server.

You have to confirm the communication between the Security sever and Security Agent. Do the following:

  1. Log on to the WFBS management console.
  2. Go to Preference > Global Settings > System > Quarantine Maintenance. This should have a local path, such as:
    ..\Program Files\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\Virus
  3. On the WFBS console, go to Security Settings, highlight Servers (default) or Desktops (default).
  4. Select Configure and then go to Quarantine directory. This should have an http path, such as:
    http://servername.domain.com/
    http://servername/

Scenario 2: The quarantine folder on the Security Server is full, and WFBS does not automatically purge the quarantine directory.

Do the following:

  1. Log on to the WFBS management console.
  2. Go to Preferences > Global Settings > System > Quarantine maintenance.
  3. Click Delete All Quarantined Files.
  4. Click OK to confirm.

Detections are now found in the Temporary Internet directory.
