Unable to export the certificate and the private key is missing in Deep Security for Web Apps/Trend Micro SSL

You are unable to export your certiicate and it is likely that your private key is lost.

Unless you have a backup, you have to request for a new certificate and private key:

  1. Generate a new CSR.
  2. Log on to the Trend Micro SSL portal and go to the My Certificates tab.
  3. Click the order number for the certificate that you want to reissue.
    This displays the Certificate Details.
  4. Check the information on this page to make sure you have selected the correct certificate order.
  5. Click Re-issue.

    The Re-issue Certificate page appears.

  6. Paste the text of the CSR file in the Paste CSR box and click Continue.
  7. On the Re-issue Certificate Summary page, click Approve.

    A message appears, stating that your certificate request has been submitted and that an email with a link to the newly-issued certificate will be sent to you shortly. Click OK.

  2. Log in to your Deep Security for Web Apps console, go to the main Protection tab. In the left pane, click Certificates.
  3. On the Certificatessub-tab, click the order number for the certificate that you want to reissue.

    This displays the Certificate Details.

  4. Check the information on this page to make sure you have selected the correct certificate order.
  5. Click Re-issue.

    The Re-issue Certificate page appears.

  6. Paste the text of the CSR file in the Paste CSR box, and then click Continue.
  7. On the Re-issue Certificate Summary page, click Approve.

    A message appears, stating that your certificate request has been submitted and that an email with a link to the newly-issued certificate will be sent to you shortly. Click OK.
