By default, SafeSync for Enterprise server comes with a self-signed SSL certificate. This certificate is used for secure communications between the SafeSync server and SafeSync client application running on workstations and mobile devices. Login credentials and file transfers are encrypted using this certificate.
SafeSync administrators can update or replace the existing SSL certificate with a publicly trusted or a self-generated certificate. For the complete procedure, refer to this online help article: Updating SSL Certificate Information
