Identifying the specific version of the Intrusion Defense Firewall (IDF)

Client-side:

Double-click the client from the IDF console and scroll down to the Software section.

If unable to see the client version, check the client registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\IDF Client

Server-side:

To check the lates build, go to Updates and perform a client plug-in update.

After a successful update, the latest 32 or 64-bit driver version will appear.

On the installer

Download the latest IDF package.

  1. Unpack the latest msi file for IDF using 7zip, Winrar.
  2. Inside the extracted folder, unpack ds_agent.cab.
  3. On the folder created for ds_agent.cab, rename _FileApplicationexe to _FileApplication.exe.
  4. Right-click the renamed file, click Properties > Details. The version will be displayed.
