Use the tmtd.ptn file to address a Behavior Monitoring (malware blocking) detection issue, either to add a file to be blocked or drop a false detection.

To apply the pattern:

  1. Go to the OSCE client or WFBS Agent installation directory.
  2. Back up the existing tmtd.ptn file and replace it with the provided tmtd.ptn file.
     
    For 64-bit machines, the pattern file is tmtd64.ptn
  3. Restart the Trend Micro Unauthorized Change Prevention and RealTime Scan services or unload and reload the OSCE Client or WFBS Security Agent.
  4. Verify that the pattern has been applied properly by checking the Component Versions. Look for Behavior Monitoring Detection Pattern.
