Unable to select drop-down menu items after upgrading to OfficeScan 10.6
The administrator upgraded from OfficeScan (OSCE) 10.5 to 10.6 SP2. After the upgrade, the administrator noticed that selecting the drop-down boxes on the Client Management page doesn't display the menu items. Rebooting the system doesn't help.
This issue doesn't occur when bringing up the UI on a different system.
Details
This is related to the Active X components used by the OSCE Server.
To resolve the issue:
Remove all Trend Micro add-ons
- Click the Tools button > Manage add-ons.
- To display all ActiveX controls, under Show option, click Downloaded controls in the drop-down menu.
- Click the ActiveX control you want to delete, then click More information.
- In the More Information dialog box, click the Remove button.
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for every Trend Micro control present on the OfficeScan system.
Delete all Internet browsing history\cache\cookies
- Open Internet Options.
- From the General tab, select Delete under Browsing History.
- Delete all History, Form data, Cookies and Temporary Internet files.
Restart your Internet browser.
Once you log back into the console you should get prompted to install the Active x add-on again (depending on your security settings).
Verify if the issue is resolved.
