This issue occurs when the isapiclient.dll file is corrupted during an upgrade. To fix this:

  1. From the IIS console, stop the OfficeScan (OSCE) website.
  2. Create a backup of isapiClient.dll. The file is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Web_OSCE\Web\CGI\".
  3. Rename isapiClient.dll and replace it with the same file from a non-faulty installation.

To get the file, either use another working OSCE installation with the same language and version or request the file from Trend Micro Technical Support.

If you request the file, state the exact language and version of OfficeScan you are using. It is recommended to take a screenshot of the console and attach it to the request.

  4. Restart the OSCE website and the affected client and check if it's online.
