Deep Security Agent (DSA) on AIX cannot start and shows ‘Unable to access encrypted database…'

Summary
The DSA is unable to start after being installed on an AIX server. You see the following error message:
local0:err|error ds_agent[65340]: Unable to access encrypted database /var/opt/ds_agent/lca.db. The agent will have to be removed and re-installed.

The issue occurs because the ds_agent cannot read the information from the local database.
To resolve the issue, delete the local database files:
  1. Log in to the AIX machine and go to ../var/opt/ds_agent/.
  2. Delete all *.db and *.ini files.
  3. Restart the Deep Security Agent.
The database will be rebuilt once DSA restarts.
