"HTTP Error 403.2 - Forbidden: Access is denied" appears when accessing the OfficeScan web console

To resolve this issue:

  1. Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager via Administrative Tools.
  2. Expand the Web Sites folder.
  3. Expand OfficeScan > officescan.
  4. Highligh the officescan folder and right click it then choose Properties.
  5. Under the Virtual Directory tab, make sure the Read option is checked then click OK to save the changes.

  6. Restart the IIS services and reaccess the OfficeScan web console.
