Deep Security Manager will display erroneous information if there are misconfiguration on the vCenter, where it retrieves the VM IP, hostname, and platform information.

To resolve the issue, configure the correct guest OS:

  1. Open the vSphere Client.
  2. Right-click the target virtual machine and click Edit Settings.
  3. Go to Options and then select the guest OS.
  4. Save the changes.
