You cannot log on to the EUQ web console at your first try but after one to two minutes, you can successfully access the console.
When you log off, and then you log on immediately, you can access the console easily. However, after several hours, the issue reoccurs.
This happens when the InterScan Messaging Security Suite (IMSS) is deployed in the firewall's demititarized zone (DMZ) while the LDAP server is in different zone or local network.
This issue occurs because the firewall silently drops the LDAP connection for being inactive for a long period of time or when there is no LDAP query.
To resolve the issue, do one of the following:
- For IMSVA 8.5 users, request for Hot fix 16040 from Trend Micro Technical Support.
- Contact the firewall vendor's support and configure the firewall to prevent silently dropping of LDAP connection between IMSS and LDAP server.
