Details
This issue might occur when the ssnotify.ini file is missing.
To check if ssnotify.ini is on the OSCE server, go to this path: ~\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Admin.
If the file is missing, the update agent will not be able to connect to the OSCE server to get updates.
To recreate the ssnotify.ini file:
- Access the web console.
- Go to Smart Protection > Integrated Server.
- Go to Update Settings > Update Schedule.
- Check Enable scheduled updates and select hourly (If this is already the default setting, uncheck Enable scheduled updates and check it again).
- Click Save.
- Check if ssnotify.ini is created.
If the file is created, making an update agent again. Make sure that the IP addresses are set properly and it will update to the server.
