End-user quarantine (EUQ) console displays the time in a wrong time zone

Summary
The EUQ console shows incorrect time.
For example, the time zone is GMT+08 and the InterScan Messaging Security Suite (IMSS) receives a spam mail at 18:08. When you check the spam mail in the EUQ console, it shows that the spam is received at 11:08, which time zone is GMT+01. Upon verifying the system time zone, it has the correct one, which is GMT+08.

To resolve the issue:
  1. Go to Start > Run.
  2. Type "regedit" to open the Registry Editor.
    Important: Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
  3. On the left pane, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.0\TmImssEuqUI\Parameters\Java.
    Note: If the OS is 64-bit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.0\TmImssEuqUI\Parameters\Java.
  4. Double-click Options.
  5. Under the "Value data" window, add the following string at the last part:
    -Duser.timezone=GMT+08
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart the Trend Micro End-User Quarantine Console service.
  8. Check the EUQ console again.
