Migrating the local SSL to the Customer Licensing Portal (CLP) in Deep Security for Web Apps

You created a new Trend Micro account (CLP account), but during registration, you are still asked to accomplish the enrollment process.

To resolve the issue above:

  1. Log in to the Deep Security for Web Apps console.
  2. On the top of the page, click the Administration tab and on the left column, click Account Settings.
  3. Take note of your account subscription activation code.

    If your account has a license with the format of LOCAL-XXXXXXXX, this should be migrated to the CLP in order to reflect the new license. If your account does not reflect your new license (it starts with WW-), proceed to Step 4.

  4. Log in to CLP.
     
    If you do not have an account yet, sign up for a new account.
  5. Follow the procedure in this article: Enrollment process for Deep Security for Web Apps.

    Use an alternate email address when doing the enrollment process. You can only use an email address once in Deep Security for Web Apps.

  6. After the enrollment process, file a support case with the following information:
    • Old account information (Deep Security for Web Apps console)
      • Email address
      • Company name
      • Activation code (LOCAL-XXXXXXXX-)
    • New account information (CLP account)
      • CLP account ID
      • Email address used in enrollment process (This is not the email address used in CLP)
      • Company name
      • Activation code (WW-)

    Indicate which account you want to retain (old or new).

     
    Only one account will be retained after migration. The other account will be deleted.
