Services to check when SafeSync for Enterprise (SSFE) is not working properly

Summary
When something is not working properly or some features are not running correctly while using SSFE, it is helpful to verify the status of important services in the SSFE server. This article lists down the services you should check and restart if necessary.

Public
The following services are critical to the operation of SSFE:
  • Apache
  • MySQL
  • Lighttpd
  • MogileFS
  • Management UI
To check the status of these services, the administrator should login to the server shell and run the following commands as root:
service apache2 status
service mysql status
service lighttpd status
mogadm check
supervisorctl status mgmtui
These services, except MogileFS, can be restarted if one or more is not running. The commands to restart the services are:
service apache2 restart
service mysql restart
service lighttpd restart
supervisorctl restart mgmtui
