Details
The issue occurs due to a corrupted database. Upon checking the OfficeScan debug log, the following entries show to indicate that the OfficeScan server is writing on the database:
2014 05/27 16:55:37 [0c1c : 0f48] (00) (D) [DbServer][DbServer.exe]CodeBase error(errcode=-70)(errcode2=90621)(desc1=C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\httpdb\dbVirusLog.cdx)(dest2= 58368 512)(dest3=file4readAll) - [dblay_CodeBase.cpp(29)]

To resolve the issue:
Note: The procedure below will recreate the Virus Log database. After performing this procedure, the Virus Log will appear correctly but it will not show all of the previous virus logs.
- Stop the OfficeScan Master Service.
- Back up the following files under ...\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\HTTPDB by renaming it with .BAK extensions:
- DBVIRUSLOG.CDX
- DBVIRUSLOG.DBF
- DBVIRUSLOG.FPT
- Start the OfficeScan Master Service.
To prevent this issue from happening again, make sure that the Log Maintenance setting is set at the default of 7 days to ensure the purging of data is done on a weekly basis.
