The alert "Deep Security Protection Module Failure (Code 1800)" appears on Deep Security without any maintenance or action implemented. Neither reactivating the agent on the Deep Security Manager console nor updating security updates can resolve the issue.
To resolve the issue:
- Disable the agent self-protection.
- Stop the Deep Security Agent Service.
- Delete or rename C:\ProgramData\Trend Micro\Deep Security Agent\iaurepo.
- Restart the Deep Security Agent Service.
- Open the Deep Security Manager console.
- Navigate to Computer > Updates.
- Click Download Security Updates.
