This issue occurs when the User Account Control (UAC) is activated.
To resolve this issue, deactivate the UAC:
- Open the registry editor.
Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
- Locate "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system".
- Change the DWORD value of "EnableLUA" from "1" to "0".
- Reboot the machine.
- Check if the issue has been resolved by clicking again the Create Email option in Browser-Based Installation. This should open MS Outlook, Outlook Express, or Windows Mail New Message.
