If you need to collect logs when troubleshooting, you may use the TMMS log collection tool.

 
The TMMS log collection tool is an unsupported command line utility that collects all the necessary logs. The TMMS log collection tool is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. Trend Micro does not warrant that TMMS log collection tool is secure or error free, that it will meet your requirements or expectations, that the results will be accurate or reliable, or that errors or issues will be fixed or corrected. You assume all risk arising out of use of this utility. Trend Micro does not provide support for this utility and the Trend Micro Technical Support team is unable to answer questions about the TMMS log collection tool.

To use the tool, unzip the tmmsSupportTool.zip and then launch the TmmsSupportTool.exe. You may select on which of the following applications to use:

  • LCS Config tool to check the Local Communication Server configuration
  • DB Config Tool to check the Database configuration in TMMS 9.0
  • Log Config Tool to set the debug level and to collect the log from the Management Server

When you select the Backup option, the collected logs will be stored to the log_bak folder. Once the log are collected, send them to Trend Micro Technical Support.
