Special characters that cannot be used for Active Directory (AD) credentials in Endpoint Application Control (TMEAC)

Summary
Some Special characters are not allowed to be used in AD credentials, such as domain names, usernames, or passwords. AD credentials are found on the Administration > Server settings page of the TMEAC Standalone Server.

Public
Special characters such as # % & < > are not supported in the authentication settings of TMEAC 1.0 and can only be used in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) browser.
Note: IE8 will not restrict the input of the five (5) special characters but will delete the following after the settings have been saved.
