Details
Public
ISVW sends the following requests to the DC Agents:
  1. Ping availability. This request is sent individually to each registered DC Agent and the HTTP VirusWall processes each response individually.
  2. Retrieve Agent settings. This request is sent to all registered Agents, but the HTTP VirusWall uses settings from the first responding agent assuming that all of them have the same settings.
  3. Update Agent settings. This request is sent to all registered Agents.
  4. Find the user or group in the Active Directory. This request is sent to all registered Agents, but the HTTP VirusWall uses the data from the first successful response.
  5. Find the user ID based on the IP-address. This request is sent to all registered Agents and all responses are processed to find a hit.
When ISVW loses connection to any DC Agent machine, it will retry every minute.
