To connect a local folder to an online folder:
- Make sure you have the latest version of Trend Micro SafeSync by following the steps in this article:
- Do either of the following:
- If you have an older version installed: Upgrade your program.
- If you already have the latest version: Proceed to the next step.
- Do either of the following:
- Use the Trend Micro SafeSync console to create an online folder:
- Go to Start > All Programs > Trend Micro SafeSync > SafeSync Settings.
- Click the Sync tab.
- Click Add another folder to the list.
- Select the local folder you want to sync.
- Select Create a new online folder. You can assign any name for the folder.
- Click Finish. You will see the newly paired folder in the Sync tab.
- Create an online folder through any local folder on your computer
- Right-click any local folder on your computer.
- Select SafeSync, then select Make this a SafeSync folder.
You will see the newly paired folder in the Sync tab.
- Use the Trend Micro SafeSync console to create an online folder:
Important: Trend Micro SafeSync can only sync one local folder to one online folder. Before you can connect the local folder to an existing online folder, make sure the online folder is not paired to a different local folder.
