OSCE 10.6 SP3 Critical Patch 5712 has been repacked to include another fix. Customers who installed the said critical patch (EN) before January 23, 2015 are advised to download and re-install the repacked version.

The repacked Critical Patch 5712 (EN) is now available in Trend Micro Download Center. For other languages, the repacked version of the patch will be available after January 30, 2015.
This critical patch ensures that the OfficeScan Smart Protection Server downloads only the incremental CRCZ pattern file when the update is in the incremental range.
If the network connection or proxy is not available during installation, the process may stop. You can do one of the following options to prevent this issue:
Option 1: Re-install the critical patch
  1. Ensure that all the important tasks, such as component update, running on the server are complete.
  2. Check the internet or proxy server connection.
  3. Double-click the critical patch package.
Option 2: Manually update the CRCZ pattern
  1. Launch the Internet Browser.
  2. Check the File Reputation Service AU using the following links to find the full CRCZ pattern information:
    Note: Look for "P. 48040108" and note the pattern version. For example, P.48040108=pattern/crcz_1503800200.zip.
    • For EN and other versions (except CN and JP):
      http://osce106-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/server.ini
    • For JP:
      http://osce106-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.co.jp/activeupdate/japan/server.ini
    • For CN:
      http://osce106-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com.cn/activeupdate/china/server.ini
  3. Download the latest full CRCZ pattern using the links below:
    Note: Change the "{pattern version}" in the link with the detail you get from the previous step.
    • For EN and other versions (except CN and JP):
      http://osce106-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/pattern/crcz_{pattern version}.zip
    • For JP:
      http://osce106-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.co.jp/activeupdate/japan/pattern/pattern/crcz_{pattern version}.zip
    • For CN:
      http://osce106-ilspn30-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com.cn/activeupdate/china/pattern/crcz_{pattern version}.zip
  4. Unzip the pattern file.
  5. Rename the pattern file name to crcz.ptn.
  6. Create a folder named "CRCZ_CP5712" under PCCSRV\Admin folder. This folder can be found under the OSCE server installation directory.
  7. Copy the crcz.ptn file to the Admin folder and Admin\CRCZ_CP5712 folder.
  8. Double-click the critical patch package.
