After upgrading Deep Security 9.0 or 9.5 to Deep Security 9.5 SP1, the "Details..." page of the VMs protected by Deep Security Virtual Appliance (DSVA) show multiple errors such as "Firewall Engine Offline" and "Intrusion Prevention Engine Offline" even if the module is not licensed.
The issue in this case is the DSVA is not updated and still on Version 9.5.2.2022. To solve the issue, update DSVA:
- Go to Administration > Updates > Software > Local. Make sure that Agent-RedHat-EL6-9.5.3-2754.x86-64 agent is selected.
- Go to Computers > <choose DSVA> > Details... > Overview > Actions and update the DSVA.
- If the DSVA is moved from the ESXi host, delete the old one from vCenter then apply a new one.
- Make sure that the version of the DSVA is 9.5.3.2754 after the upgrade.
