DDI is still accessing the Grid Server “gacl.trendmicro.com” even when the option Perform Grid Analysis Before Submitting Files/Enable checking of files against CSSS is deselected in:

For DDI 3.5/3.6/3.7

Administration > Global Settings > Network Interface Settings > Virtual Analyzer SettingsPerform GRID analysis before submitting files

For DDI 3.8

Administration > Virtual Analyzer > File Submission > Enable checking of files against CSSS

By design, there is no way to completely stop the DDI from accessing the Grid Server.

When the Perform Grid Analysis Before Submitting Files/Enable checking of files against CSSS option is deselected, DDI will not access the Grid Server before submitting files to the virtual analyzer. However, the U-Sandbox module will access the Grid server whether the option is selected or not.
