    • Updated:

    • Product/Version:
    • Deep Security 9.5
    • Platform:
    • VMware vCenter 5.5
    • VMware vSphere 5.1
Summary

The message "Reconfigure Virtual Machine" continuously shows in vCenter when ESX/ESXi hosts and virtual machines are protected by Deep Security 9.5.

Details
Public

The root cause can be because the Deep Security Filter Driver version is on Build 9.5.2.x and the Deep Security Virtual Appliance (DSVA) is on Build 9.5.3.x, or vice versa.

Whichever of the above reasons may be true in your case, ensure that the Deep Security Filter Driver and the DSVA are updated to Build 9.5.3.x.

The automatic and continuous "Reconfigure Virtual Machine" message will stop once every component is updated to Build 9.5.3.x.
